Hanwoori was first opened at Dosan main street with the name of 'Seorabeol' as specialized restaurant for Korean food with main ingredient of meat like shabu-shabu, pan-fried beef with vegetables, grilled beef sirloin, noodle hot pot and beef tripe hot pot in and changed its name to "Hanwoori" in October of 1990 and was successful in overseas expansion and direct control on Korean-food restaurant, based on the business idea, 'creation of new food and beverage culture'. Hanwoori has lead improvement and creation of Korean food and beverage culture for 35 years with the motto of the company, 'kind service', 'clean environment', 'creation of taste' and 'unity and harmony'.
